HOW TO KNOW
IF YOU ARE
WINNING OR LOSING?

One of the easiest ways to track if you’re winning or losing in Pokémon Unite is by paying attention to the in-game callouts. These short announcements pop up during the match and give you direct hints about which team has the advantage. Understanding what these messages mean can help you adjust your strategy on the fly, whether it’s playing safer, pushing your lead, or preparing for a comeback. This guide will break down every callout and explain how to use them to know exactly where your team stands.

In-Game Callouts and What They Mean

Throughout a match, Pokémon Unite gives you callouts that hint at the current score difference. These are the most reliable ways to know whether your team is ahead or behind:

  • “It’s a close battle!” → The score difference is under 20 points. Either team could be ahead.

  • “We’re in the lead!” → Your team is ahead by 21 to 99 points, but it’s not a guaranteed win.

  • “We have a huge lead!” → Your team is ahead by 100 or more points. Keep defending your advantage.

  • “We’re struggling to keep up!” → Your team is behind by 21 to 99 points. You’ll need objectives to catch up.

  • “We’re really struggling!” → Your team is down by over 100 points. Groudon or a cheeky back cap could be your comeback chance.
